Former Alabama football center, Landon Dickerson recently revealed how he and his teammates continued to work out during the early stages of the COVID-19 global pandemic on NFL Network.
Dickerson explained how he purchased workout equipment and developed a workout schedule for almost 40 players on Alabama’s roster.
“During Covid, everybody got sent home, facilities were closed down everything was shut down and spring ball is a time for development,” Dickerson said. “Guys get bigger, faster and stronger. We did not have anywhere to work out. I actually went and brought a bunch of gym equipment. In my carport, I set up a gym. I took the workouts from what we had been doing until we were forced to leave. We had time slots for guys. At the peak, we had about 40 guys coming in.”
