Ty Simpson received an invite to the Elite 11 Finals Sunday after a strong performance at the regional camp section in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Elite 11 Finals will pit Simpson against some of the top quarterbacks in the 2022 recruiting class. This year’s event will take place in Nashville and will begin on June 29th. Simpson and the other participants will compete in on-field drills, throw routes against air and receive classroom instructions for three days.
The event has hosted a long list of talented quarterbacks in the past. Twenty-four of the thirty-two starting NFL quarterbacks have thrown at the competition. The last Alabama quarterback to participate in the Elite 11 Finals was Bryce Young in 2019.
The other notable current and former Alabama quarterbacks to participate in the event are Paul Tyson, Taulia Tagovailoa, Mac Jones and Tua Tagovailoa

Simpson has been verbally committed to Alabama since February. He looks to help the Crimson Tide continue to build up its 2022 recruiting class this summer.
