He has not heard the offseason criticism, and that is a good thing.
Some were ready to write Tua Tagovailoa off after nine games as a rookie for the Miami Dolphins in 2020, but the former Alabama quarterback is about to have the final laugh.
He’s turned in countless hours bulking up his physique and getting his arm ready to toss touchdowns.
His head coach, Brian Flores, honored his commitment by not taking a signal-caller in the NFL Draft.

The Dolphins made some moves in free agency and capitalized in the draft. Tagovailoa has weapons around him, and the organization is expecting a jump in production for year two.
The native Hawaiian not only looks bigger, but he has also regained his smooth footwork and agility.
According to Per4orm, an athletic training facility based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., it posted a video to Twitter of Tagovailoa’s mobility.
After a horrific mishap in his junior year at Alabama, he’s looking back to form.

Tagovailoa was 6-3 as a starter last year and finished with 1,814 passing yards and 11 touchdowns.
He was a big deal for the Crimson Tide, and now Dolphin fans are about to see why in the fall.
