Alabama outside linebacker Jarez Parks is no longer listed on the team’s roster online. Despite having his name removed, there is currently no word whether Parks has officially entered the NCAA transfer portal.
The Fellsmere, Fla. native originally arrived in Tuscaloosa as a grayshirt candidate despite being one of the top players at his position in the class of 2017. He later redshirted during the 2018 season and spent the last two seasons as a reserve outside linebacker.
He appeared in a total of six games across those two seasons with five coming in 2019. His only game action in 2020 came against Kentucky as the Crimson Tide went on its way to win the national championship. Parks did not record any stats in his time at Alabama.
Although the true departure of Parks is likely imminent, the Crimson Tide still possesses a tremendous amount of depth at the position headlined by the likes of Will Anderson Jr. and Chris Allen.
This post will be updated.
