Briarwood Christian School’s junior quarterback, Christopher Vizzina pulled in several offers last month and is receiving interest from some of the top programs in the nation.

Vizzina currently has 11 D1 football offers. Alabama, Clemson, Georgia and Notre Dame are also showing interest in the Birmingham, Alabama product. The Crimson Tide were able to see Vizzina at camp in June.

“It was awesome,” Vizzina told Touchdown Alabama. “I was in the group with some of the top recruits. Nick Saban watched us the whole time and coach Bill O’Brien was coaching us up. I thought I performed really well. It was my first camp of the summer. They told me they know I am the best quarterback inside the state in my class. I am going to go to see a game and visit again this season. I feel I am building a great relationship with coach O’Brien.”

The 6-foot-4 signal-caller threw for 1,969 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2020. He made some impressive throws outside of the pocket on the run. He also displayed some impressive mobility by using his feet to make plays as a runner.

Vizzina said he is working on being more consistent this upcoming season.

“I think I am one of the most athletic pro-style quarterbacks,” Vizzina said. ” I know I can extend plays, but I want to improve on throwing from different arm angles. I got a lot better at reading defense as a sophomore. I think the biggest thing I need to focus on is consistency.”
