Dayne Shor announced his verbal commitment to Alabama football Saturday.
Shor is Alabama’s 14th commit in the 2022 recruiting class and their second offensive line pledge. He chose Alabama over Oklahoma, Oregon more than 30 other D1 programs. The Crimson Tide remains hot on the recruiting trail in July with Shor’s commitment. He is the sixth 2022 recruit to commit to the Tide this month.
Alabama was the last program to host Shor for an official visit in June. The four-star offensive lineman told Touchdown Alabama he walked away from the visit impressed with Alabama football for several reasons.
“My favorite parts were the feeling you get when you are on campus, the coaches and all the support they have,” Shor said.
Shor stands at 6-foot-6 and weighs 300 pounds. After missing his entire junior season with a shoulder injury, the Alabama commit will be able to show how much his game has improved since his sophomore season this year. He did show some D1 potential as a sophomore for Denmark High School in Georgia.
