His commitment decision is behind him, and Shawn Murphy is focused on putting together a great season at inside linebacker for Unity Reed High School.
Murphy announced his verbal commitment to the Alabama Crimson Tide on July 25. He chose Alabama over more than 40 D1 offers, including offers from Ohio State, Penn State, LSU and Florida. The Virginia product said he chose the Crimson Tide because he felt Alabama was the best fit for him.
