Walter Nolen released his top three schools Tuesday and did not include Alabama football.
Texas A&M, Georgia and Tennessee made up Nolen’s top three. The Tennessee product previously released a top five and included the Crimson Tide along with Michigan, Florida, Texas A&M and Tenessee.
Alabama hosted Nolen in June, and he got to spend time with Nick Saban. The five-star recruit previously told Touchdown Alabama he felt Saban wanted to help him on and off the field.
“He is trying to help me long term,” Nolen said. “He wants to make sure I am straight in the long run. He always asks me about my education and what I will do in a school if I went up there. It is always a good thing because school is always going to come first.”
Jaheim Oatis is the Crimson Tide’s only defensive tackle commit. After signing four interior defensive lineman in the 2021 recruiting class, Alabama football has its eyes on a similar number with multiple highly-touted prospects still available in the 2022 cycle.
