In the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had to leave the game with an injury after being sacked by defensive end A.J. Epenesa.
Tagovailoa limped to the sidelines and eventually was carted to the locker room and did not return to the game. He was replaced by backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett in the team’s 35-0 loss.
Following the game it was reported by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero that Tagovailoa suffered bruised ribs and would receive an MRI tomorrow.
