Alabama carried a balanced attack on offense and cleaned some areas defensively in its 63-14 win over Southern Mississippi.
Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide maintain at the No. 1 team in college football, according to the new Associated Press Top-25 rankings.
Alabama found the end zone on offense and special teams versus the Golden Eagles, while its defense forced six tackles for loss, two sacks, nine quarterback hurries, and one interception.
Lane Kiffin and Mississippi will be at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday for a highly-anticipated game. Alabama must have its best performance on display in Tuscaloosa via CBS Sports.

The matchup will feature two Heisman Trophy contenders, Matt Corral and Bryce Young, and two elite offenses. According to Vegas Insider, the Tide is a -14.5 point favorite over Mississippi.
