Jayden Wayne experienced an Alabama football game inside Bryant-Denny Stadium for the first time on Saturday night during a return trip to Tuscaloosa.
Wayne garners a five-star rating and is one of the top defensive prospects in the 2023 recruiting class. The Washington product had been in heavy contact with Alabama’s coaches before his visit.
“They were the first to contact me,” Wayne told Touchdown Alabama. “They were trying to get me to come to visit and watch a game then. I now get a text from coach (Holmon) Wiggins and coach (Freddie) Roach every week.”
Saturday’s visit was Wayne’s second trip to Alabama since the Crimson Tide offered him. The atmosphere at the game Saturday did not disappoint, according to Wayne.
