Elijah Pritchett announced his verbal commitment to Alabama football Tuesday at Carver High School in Columbus, Georgia.
Pritchett is the Crimson Tide’s 15th commit in the 2022 recruiting class and their third offensive line pledge. The Georgia product chose Alabama over Georgia, Florida State and USC.
Pritchett’s decision comes after he officially visited the University of Georgia earlier this month. Alabama football last got Pritchett on campus on Sept. 11 when they defeated the Mercer Bears. Pritchett officially visited the University of Alabama in June.
The four-star offensive lineman currently stands at 6-foot-7 and weighs 295 pounds. He is regarded as one of the top offensive tackle prospects in the 2022 recruiting class. He knows how to use his athleticism and long frame to make himself wide while blocking at the tackle position. The Alabama commit finishes blocks and can get to the second level fairly quickly when blocking for the run.

With three 2022 offensive linemen verbally committed, Alabama football would be in a good position if this trio were the only linemen they signed during the 2022 cycle.
