The Miami Dolphins will likely be getting its starting quarterback back into the mix near the middle of the month.
It was reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the Dolphins expect Tagovailoa to be ready to return for the team’s Oct. 17 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.
Tagovailoa originally fractured his ribs during the team’s Week 2 game against the Buffalo Bills where he was tackled from behind by defensive lineman A.J. Epenesa. He was replaced by backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett who has filled in during his absence.
The injury was believed the be a three-week recovery and the Dolphins are confident that will be the case.
