Alabama and Mississippi State are scheduled for a 6 p.m. CT kickoff on ESPN for their Saturday, Oct. 16 matchup at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field, the Southeastern Conference office announced on Monday afternoon.
The game will be the 106th meeting in the all-time series, dating back to 1896. Alabama owns the series advantage, 85-17-3, including winning the last 13 straight contests and the last six meetings in Starkville. The two teams last met on Oct. 31, 2020 in Tuscaloosa, as UA came away with a 41-0 triumph.
Before the Crimson Tide travel to Starkville, MS, it will head to College Station, TX to take on the Texas A&M Aggies while the Bulldogs will prepare for the top team in the country with its BYE Week.
