Alabama football is facing serious adversity at Kyle Field versus Texas A&M.
The Aggies have a 17-7 lead, but the Crimson Tide lost one of its defensive leaders in the first quarter. Malachi Moore, a sophomore cornerback, was flagged for targeting.
He got ejected from the game, and it has led to struggles in secondary against the Aggies.
It did not appear as though he led with his helmet, but Moore, Nick Saban, and Tide fans are upset with the call.
According to a poll via Touchdown Alabama Magazine, 73 percent of fans disliked the call.
People voiced their opinions on Twitter.
No but it was a dumb hit so I understand

By the rule book yes. Disqualifying players is ridiculous.

I agree by rule it was targeting but I think the rule needs to be tweaked.

Weak call but it was bad judgment by Chi, he know better

Fans want to see an adjustment to the rule. Discipline was needed on Moore’s part, but being ejected is not necessary.
Hopefully, Brian Branch can step up in his place at star.
