In the latest College Football Playoff rankings, the committee has slated Alabama at No. 2 following its 20-14 win over LSU from a week ago. The Crimson Tide saw itself slated at the No. 2 in the first edition of the playoff rankings.
A new face entered the top four this week as Ohio State moved up from No. 5 to No. 4 after Michigan State suffered its first loss of the season to Purdue last Saturday. Oregon moved up to the No. 3 spot with the Spartans dropping down to No. 7.
