Seemingly every week in the NFL there are clusters of analysts and talking heads alike who are coming around on Patriots quarterback Mac Jones.
As of Week 10, Jones is the top-performing rookie quarterback and has rattled off four games in a row for the 6-4 Patriots who are now in the playoff picture.
His improvement over the past four weeks has prompted his supporters to come out of the woodwork to get some vindication.
Kansas City Chiefs defensive back Tyrann Mathieu is taking it upon himself to call out Jones’ doubters on social media while giving a glowing endorsement of the rookie.
Mac Jones wasn’t trendy enough for y’all at first huh now y’all love him…. Man, y’all funny!!! Day in and day out!!! Y’all should be on Comedy Central

Mathieu continued his praise in the replies section pointing out how he doesn’t have the common traits of what’s looked for in a modern day quarterback, but it hasn’t stopped him from performing.
He don’t throw side arm or run fast so people knocked him….. dude can play QB! Period
