Alabama drops to No. 4 in the AP Top 25 following Iron Bowl

After narrowly escaping Auburn in the Iron Bowl on Saturday, Alabama saw itself drop once again in the AP Top 25 rankings.

It took four overtimes for the Crimson Tide to fend off the Tigers as it left Jordan-Hare Stadium victorious in the 24-22 dog fight. Ahead of the extra periods, Alabama had to overcome a 10 point deficit in the second half to even send the game to overtime.

Georgia was the unanimous No. 1 team again this week with Michigan capturing the No. 2 spot after its win over Ohio State. Cincinnati also saw itself shifted to No. 3 with its win over East Carolina.

The SEC saw six teams placed inside the top 25 which includes Georgia, Alabama, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Texas A&M and Kentucky.
