Jarrett currently attends Grimsley High School in Greensboro, North Carolina. He is listed at 6-foot-5 and 330 pounds on Grimsley’s official roster. Alabama football is the 13th program to offer the 2023 prospect.
The Crimson Tide’s defensive coordinator Pete Golding informed Jarrett of his offer, and the junior said it felt unbelievable to just be on the phone with an Alabama coach.
“I was like no way I am on the phone with coach Pete,” Jarrett said.” I was like if I get the offer, I am going to shout.”
Golding offered Jarrett after watching his junior film.
“He loved my film and liked how fast and how quick I move as a big man,” Jarrett told Touchdown Alabama. “He wants me to hit up their junior day in January.”
Jarrett referred to his offer from Alabama as a dream offer because of what he has seen from the program for most of his life.
“I know it is a great program, and if I went there, I would become great,” said Jarrett. “It is Alabama. I have seen and heard about Alabama for years since I was little. I have always loved watching them win.”
The new Alabama target finished his junior season with 35 tackles, eight tackles for loss, three sacks and two forced fumbles. He was pretty much unstoppable with his impressive strength and power. He also looked impressive in space for a guy with his size.
