One of the fastest players in the country, Kobe Prentice signed his National Letter of Intent to play football at the University of Alabama Wednesday.

Prentice is rated as a four-star recruit by Touchdown Alabama. He is a product of Calera High School in Calera, Alabama and is one of the fastest prospects in the country. His recruitment took off fairly quickly after he clocked in a 4.38 forty-yard dash while camping in Tuscaloosa last summer.

The four-star recruit immediately shot to the top of Alabama’s recruiting board after that camp performance. He referred to Alabama as his dream school when he first received an offer from the Tide and told Touchdown Alabama he felt he was still living a dream a couple of months after he made the decision to verbally commit to Alabama.

“They have been treating me great,” Prentice said. “It still feels like a dream come true.”

The Calera product is listed at 5-foot-10 and 169 pounds. His unreal speed makes him very dangerous in the open field. He can tie moves together in the open field that make defenders look silly.
