Former Alabama quarterback, Mac Jones gifted the entire New England Patriots’ offensive line Bitcoin for Christmas, according to Bitcoin Magazine.
Jones has put together an impressive rookie season for the Patriots. He has thrown for 3,168 yards and eighteen touchdowns through fifteen games and has helped New England secure a 9-6 record. The Jacksonville, Florida native said he had been researching Bitcoin.
“I’ve been studying Bitcoin for a while now,” Jones told Bitcoin Magazine. “This year I just knew I had to give some Bitcoin to my teammates. So I reached out to Bitcoin Magazine and asked for help on how to give Bitcoin as a gift.”
Jones and Patriots look to bounce back from a loss to the Buffalo Bills Sunday and continue their push for the post-season.
