Alabama fans are hopeful to have two players on the field in Friday’s CFP Semifinal Game versus Cincinnati.
Jalyn Armour-Davis (cornerback) and JoJo Earle (wide receiver) have missed time because of injuries.
Both did not participate in matchups against Auburn and Georgia.
Armour-Davis, a junior, has been bothered by a hip injury. Earle, a true freshman, sustained a knee injury versus New Mexico State at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Both have practiced during the Crimson Tide’s prep for the Bearcats in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl. Nick Saban updated reporters on both, and said they will be a ‘game-time decision.’

If Armour-Davis does not see much action, Khyree Jackson will start at cornerback. Slade Bolden will handle punt return duties if Earle does not participate. Alabama is also looking forward to what Traeshon Holden, Ja’Corey Brooks, Javon Baker, and Agiye Hall can provide at wide receiver. All four players have stepped up bowl practices in the absence of John Metchie.
Hopefully, we will be able to see Armour-Davis and Earle.
