Alabama’s blessing from the transfer portal is taking his talents to the National Football League.
Jameson Williams announced on his Instagram that he’s declaring for the NFL Draft. He turned in an incredible season in 2021 with 79 catches for 1,572 yards and 15 touchdowns. Williams gave the Crimson Tide a vertical deep threat at wide receiver.

He and Bryce Young developed a chemistry that allowed Young to win the Heisman Trophy and Williams to be a first-team All-American selection from the Associated Press and Sporting News. Williams also earned first-team All-SEC honors. He suffered a knee injury in Monday’s CFP National Championship Game, but Williams is expected to make a full recovery from surgery.
He will maintain his impressive speed and be a force in the NFL. Williams is regarded by draft pundits as a first-round pick.
