Alabama defensive back Jayln Armour-Davis is moving on to the next level as he declared for the 2022 NFL Draft on Saturday. Armour-Davis announced his decision on his social media.

“It has been one of my greatest honors to play football for the University 0f Alabama,” Armour-Davis said in his statement. “Growing up in Mobile, I always dreamed of playing for Alabama, with my friends and family in the stands screaming Roll Tide! Thank you Coach Saban for imparting your leadership, guidance, and knowledge of the game. To my teammates, my brothers, thank you for going to battle with me every game day.
“And a special thank you to the Crimson Tide fans for all your support on the field. I will forever cherish the moments we have shared with one another. My time here has most definitely prepared me for my next step as I proudly announced my intention to declare for the 2022 NFL draft.”
Armour-Davis spent three seasons with the Crimson Tide beginning his career during the 2019 season. He received his first opportunity to start during the 2021 season where he started 11 games with his final appearance coming in the College Football Playoff Semifinal against Cincinnati.
In 2021 the Mobile, AL, native recorded 32 tackles, four pass deflections and three interceptions.
