Alabama football wants to run it back with another transfer wide receiver.

The Crimson Tide had fun with Jameson Williams in 2021, but it looks to win a national championship with Jermaine Burton next season.

After two years at Georgia, Burton is excited to show the masses his playmaking abilities. Some were shocked to see him choose Alabama over remaining with the Bulldogs, but Burton wants to be a No. 1 option at receiver. He caught 26 passes for 497 yards and five touchdowns last year. The 6-foot-2, 200-pounder has 53 receptions for 901 yards and eight scores for his career.

It will be interesting to see where he fits in Alabama’s offense, but Patrick Dowd (breaking news reporter) and Stephen M. Smith (senior reporter/writer) had a great conversation on Monday via In My Own Words. The two discussed three reasons why Burton picked the Tide as his transfer destination from the portal.

THIS is why Jermaine Burton came to Alabama
