Following its national championship loss to Georgia, Alabama defensive back Kool-Aid McKinstry is back on the field working towards next season.
McKinstry, who arrived at Alabama as a five-star defensive back, was called upon to start in the Crimson Tide’s most crucial games of the season which included every postseason game from the SEC Championship all the way to the national title game.
His true freshman season was a solid foundational year as he totaled 26 tackles, one sack, one pass breakup and one interception.
Now as the Crimson Tide’s attention turns to spring practice, McKinstry was seen working out with former Alabama defensive back Justin Woodall to improve his coverage skills as he hopes to have a breakout year in 2022.
