Christopher Allen explains why he decided to declare for the NFL Draft

Christopher Allen is one of 11 alums for Alabama football that will compete in the NFL Scouting Combine.

He declared for the NFL Draft after the 2021 season.

Allen dominated the competing at outside linebacker in 2020, totaling 41 tackles, 13 stops for loss, six sacks, five quarterback hurries, and two forced fumbles. He assisted the Crimson Tide to an undefeated College Football Playoff National Championship season. Allen had high expectations for last year, but a foot injury versus Miami in the season opener halted his campaign.

He earned an SEC Championship ring and a Cotton Bowl victory. Allen was featured via In My Own Words on Wednesday with Stephen M. Smith of Touchdown Alabama Magazine. He discussed why he chose to declare for the draft.
