Alabama’s secondary is filled with marquee athletes, and one is eyeing a breakout season in the fall.

Terrion Arnold, a native of Tallahassee, Fla., came in the Crimson Tide’s 2021 signing class as a five-star.

He arrived as one of the top safety prospects in the nation, but Alabama’s coaching staff has worked him at cornerback. Arnold was a two-sport athlete at John Paul II Catholic High School, juggling football and basketball. The 6-foot, 188-pounder did not play for the Tide last season, but he’s preparing for spring football. Arnold shared a video to Twitter of his footwork, ball skills, and change of direction training at the indoor practice facility. He captioned the video, “Breakout year speaking it into existence.”

It will be interesting to see where he fits in the secondary, but it will be hard for the coaching staff to have Arnold on the bench for a second straight year. He possesses a skill set that resembles former Tide standout, Eddie Jackson.
