Alabama football’s 2022 defensive lineman signee, Jaheim Oatis announced he was down 15 pounds via Twitter Wednesday.

Oatis is a product of Columbia High School in Columbia, Mississippi. He was rated as a four-star recruit and was one of the top defensive tackle prospects in the 2022 recruiting class. He is an early enrollee for the Crimson Tide and is currently taking classes at the University of Alabama.
The Mississippi product enrolled at Alabama weighing 370 pounds and standing at 6-foot-5, according to a press release on RollTide.com. The former four-star is expected to go through Alabama’s full off-season program. He will participate in spring practice and Alabama’s spring game, A-Day.
