Daniel Hill visited Alabama football Saturday for its Junior Day event, and he left Tuscaloosa with an offer from Alabama football.

The Crimson Tide are the 10th D1 program to offer the Meridian, Mississippi product. Hill’s offer came from Nick Saban. The 2024 prospect told Touchdown Alabama he was taken back by the offer.
“Coach Saban called me into his office, and we were talking about how I can play many different positions, and how he would like me to come back for camp,” Hill said. “He told me I had the opportunity to play at Alabama and that I had an offer. When I first got the offer, I did not know how to feel. I have been an Alabama fan for so long. I never thought I would be in the position to play for the greatest coach of all time.”
Receiving an offer from Alabama was the highlight of Hill’s visit to Tuscaloosa, but it was not the only stand-out moment. The Tide’s strength and conditioning program caught the physical running back’s attention.
“I feel their workout regimen and how they get all the details of every little thing you do in and out the weight room really stood out,” Hill said.
Hill currently stands at 6-foot-1 and weighs 220 pounds. He was a hard man to stop during the 2021 football season as he powered through would-be tacklers to make some exciting plays for Meridian High School. Saban praised Hill’s physical running style during their conversation.
“He told me he like that I am explosive, and I run behind my pads,” Hill said. He also likes my speed.β
