Freshmen enrollees and transfers have jersey numbers for Alabama to open spring practice

Alabama football returned to action on Friday to open spring practice.

Nick Saban is excited about the roster of players and coaches for his 16th season in Tuscaloosa. Alabama has competition at several positions, but the Crimson Tide looks to get the best on the field. According to rolltide.com, the freshmen enrollees and transfers have their jersey numbers. Alabama will be off next week for spring break, but the team returns to work on March 21.
