Olaus Alinen will unofficially visit Alabama this weekend after recently taking visits to Ohio State, USC and South Carolina.
This weekend’s trip will be the Finnish lineman’s first trip back to Tuscaloosa since picking up an offer from the Crimson Tide in November. It will be his third overall visit to the Capstone. Alabama will get him back on campus on the weekend of June 10 for an official visit.
Alinen plans to release a top school list soon, and he wants to make a big chop to his offer list.
” I should release my top school list on April 1,” Alinen recently told Touchdown Alabama. “It will most likely be four, maybe five.”
Alabama football’s coaching staff have been working together to build their relationship with Alinen as of late.
“The relationships that I have with Alabama’s coaches are good,” Alinen said. “Contact has been going well with them. I have been in touch with their new offensive line coach (Eric Wolford), coach (Bill) O’Brien and coach Saban recently.”
The Loomis Chaffee product currently stands at 6-foot-7 and weighs approximately 300 pounds. He primarily lined up at left tackle during his first year of high school football in America. He displayed an ability to get to the second level and finish blocks as a junior.
