Alabama baseball will make a call to the bullpen for the greatest football coach next Tuesday.

Nick Saban is scheduled to throw the first pitch at Sewell-Thomas Stadium, commonly known as “The Joe,” in the Crimson Tide’s matchup against South Alabama. The game will be at 6:00 p.m. CT and played on SEC Network+.

Coach Saban played football and baseball at Monongah High School in West Virginia.

He proved to be excellent in both, and it groomed him into becoming a successful coach. Saban is guiding the football program through spring practice, but it will be great seeing him toss the first pitch for Alabama baseball.
