Alabama football is down a wide receiver for the foreseeable future.

Agiye Hall, a sophomore, has been suspended from the team per Coach Nick Saban. Saban announced to reporters on Wednesday during his press conference. Hall arrived in the 2021 class as a five-star from Florida. The 6-foot-3, 202-pounder amazed fans at Bryant-Denny Stadium in the A-Day Game. He caught four passes for 72 receiving yards, and Tide fans felt he would be a star.

“He is suspended from the team for violations of some team rules whether they’re academic or whatever, it doesn’t really matter,” Saban said. “Everybody has a responsibility and obligation to respect the principles and values of doing what they need to do. They’re all there to help them be more successful, so to respect those and do those is always more helpful.”

Saban was later asked if Hall would be able to work his way back to the team.

“Well he already had that opportunity once,” Saban said. “I don’t know what his plans are for the future.”

He has become known more for his posts on social media than on the field.

Saban told the media after the team’s first scrimmage that he loves the mindset of this team. He likes the fact that Alabama has “no complainers” and a lot of “positive leadership.”

He had one shining A-Day, but Hall is no longer a part of the Crimson Tide.
