Nick Saban has taken control of the NCAA transfer portal as Alabama’s head football coach.
He’s pulled out some marquee names, and the latest rumor could be the biggest one.
Tyler Harrell, a transfer wide receiver from Lousiville, is expected to commit to the Crimson Tide. He recently entered the portal after an explosive season with the Cardinals in 2021. Harrell was in a run-heavy offense, but he totaled 18 catches for 523 yards and six touchdowns. He averaged nearly 30 yards per reception (29.1) and possesses incredible speed. Alabama graduated Jameson Williams to the NFL Draft, so landing Harrell from the portal would be a huge deal for Saban and the Crimson Tide.
