He recently entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal. Hall got suspended from the Crimson Tide for a violation of team rules during spring practice. The 6-foot-3, 202-pounder possessed a lot of talent, but things did not pan out well in Tuscaloosa.
After a shining performance in the 2021 spring game, Hall could not crack the starting rotation at receiver.
He got an opportunity in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, but he dropped several passes versus Georgia. Steve Sarkisian was masterful as Alabama’s offensive coordinator in 2019 and 2020. He coached the Crimson Tide to an undefeated CFP National Championship season in 2020 while mentoring DeVonta Smith to win the Heisman Trophy.
Jahleel Billingsley transferred to Texas earlier this offseason. Hall could be joining the former Tide tight end.
