Nick Saban knows a winning style starts in the dress code.
He wore an electric blue blazer for Alabama’s spring game last week. The defense dominated, the offense made some plays, and it was an entertaining exhibition. Alabama is expected to be ranked No. 1 to open the college football season and win the College Football Playoff National Championship. The last time Coach Saban had on a blue blazer was the 2017 A-Day Game.
Fans saw a stellar performance from Jalen Hurts, Tua Tagovailoa, and defensive players. The Crimson Tide would win the national championship in the fall, despite a loss to Auburn in the regular season. Saban possesses a strong quarterback room again with a defense that’s prepared to wreck opponents. The salmon suit delivered Alabama to a CFP National Championship in 2015, but Saban’s blue suit has witnessed the team in two CFP appearances and a national championship in the 2017 season.
Is another national title on the horizon for the Tide? It has the players and coaches to achieve it.
We will see what happens in the fall for Alabama.
