Nick Saban and Jimbo Fisher said at SEC Meetings they are ready to move on from the dust-up via Saban’s comments about Texas A&M’s 2022 recruiting class.

Officials for the Aggies did not want to let the situation go. Reports came to social media about Texas A&M going to the Southeastern Conference and Commissioner Greg Sankey asking the conference to suspend and fine Coach Saban for his comments on NIL. The league has not taken action to perform Texas A&M’s wishes, but it has been roasted on social media.

Parker Barrineau, a former Crimson Tide receiver, said the Aggies need Charmin as their primary sponsor. He’s inferring the program is soft, stating how it’s foolish to act like it’s a coincidence that A&M somehow landed seven five-stars a year after NIL deals became legal.

As a College Football Playoff National Champion in 2015, Barrineau knows what’s going on.

Alabama’s meeting against Texas A&M on Oct. 8 is the matchup that will have everyone’s attention.
