Wilkin Formby announced his commitment to Alabama football Monday.
Formby attends Northridge High School in Tuscaloosa. He is rated as a four-star recruit, and he is the Crimson Tide’s fifth commit in the 2023 recruiting class. The Tuscaloosa native chose Alabama over Oklahoma, Ole Miss and Tennessee.
Formby’s commitment gives Alabama its first offensive lineman pledge.
The Northridge product has a prototypical frame for an offensive tackle prospect at 6-foot-8 and approximately 300 pounds. He has great footwork and carries his weight well. He also possesses impressive strength.
