Richard Young announced his top three schools Tuesday.
Young attends Lehigh Senior High School in Florida. He is rated as a five-star recruit, and the Florida product is arguably the nation’s top running back prospect. Alabama, Georgia and Oregon were listed in his top three.
Alabama offered Young in February of 2021, and he has visited UA a handful of times since then. His last trip to Tuscaloosa was in June when he officially visited the Crimson Tide.
At 6-foot and approximately 200 pounds, Young is an explosive running back who has impressive balance and speed with the football in his hand. He finished the 2021 football season with 1,700 rushing yards and 19 rushing touchdowns.
