Alabama fans have to get familiar with new numbers for several Crimson Tide football players.
The roster for the 2022 season has been updated for summer enrollees (freshmen) and current players.

Alabama signed 24 student-athletes in its recent signing class and thirteen players enrolled in the spring. Coach Nick Saban had Isaiah Bond, Emmanuel Henderson, Shazz Preston, Kobe Prentice, Jake Pope, Antonio Kite, Isaiah Hastings, Danny Lewis, Amari Niblack, Tyler Harrell (transfer), Tyler Steen (transfer), and Miles Kitselman (transfer) to arrive in the summer for the Tide.
