We have to wait for the fun dance competition between Jordan Battle and Tyler Harrell, but the veteran safety wasted no time alerting opposing defenses on the challenge that awaits them in the fall.
Battle, a senior from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has faced some of the best wide receivers in practice at Alabama. He came in the 2019 recruiting class as a four-star and has battled Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs III, DeVonta Smith, Jaylen Waddle, Jameson Williams, and John Metchie. Battle is now getting challenged by a fellow South Florida native in Harrell, and his explosiveness is real.

Harrell averaged 29.1 yards per catch in 2021 at Louisville and totaled 18 receptions, including six touchdowns.
As we wait on the dance competition between Jordan Battle and Tyler Harrell, Battle did talk about Harrell fitting in with the Crimson Tide:
“He is very fast. It is true,” Battle said in confirming Harrell’s speed. “He’s a great route runner that can take the top off a defense.” pic.twitter.com/UWX55zl4tw

“Everybody hears he is very fast, and it’s true,” Battle said of Harrell. “He is very fast. He is a great route runner, and he can take the top off defenses. We love that because we need guys on offense to give our secondary competition in practice.”
Harrell will give Alabama’s secondary competition, but he wants to give opponents in the regular season the work.
