Martavious Collins announced his commitment to Alabama football Wednesday.
Collins attends Rome High School in Georgia. The rising junior is rated as a four-star recruit, and he is the second 2024 prospect to commit to Alabama. The Crimson Tide offered Collins in April, and he said Alabama was his dream school after he received the offer.
“I was super excited,” Collins told Touchdown Alabama. “It is my dream school, and I have been waiting for that moment my whole life.”
Alabama beat out Ohio State, Notre Dame and others to pick up a commitment from Collins.
At 6-foot-3 and approximately 220 pounds, The new Alabama commit made plays lined up out wide and while lined up as an in-line tight end as a sophomore. He is comfortable catching the football in traffic, and he presents a big target for his quarterback. Collins is also a great blocker.
