Caleb Downs tweeted Thursday he will announce his commitment on July 27.

Downs attends Mill Creek High School in Georgia, and he is rated as a five-star recruit. He will choose between Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Notre Dame and others. The Crimson Tide, Bulldogs, Fighting Irish and Buckeyes each hosted Downs for an official visit in June.
The 5-foot-11 and 195 pounds, Downs is a playmaker in the secondary.
