Raymond Pulido is excited to get back to Tuscaloosa to visit with Alabama football.
Pulido is a 2023 offensive lineman out of Apple Valley High School in California. He currently holds more than 10 D1 offers. Pulido plans to be in Tuscaloosa for a couple of days.
The California product listed Alabama, UCLA, Oregon, Arizona and Louisville as his top five in June after camping in Tuscaloosa. The Tide made Pulido’s top five because of his admiration for the way their program is run.
“I would say I probably have one of the better relationships with their coaching staff,” Pulido said. “They definitely feel like home in a way. I mean Alabama is Alabama for a reason and sure they got good facilities, but I respect the way they run their program.”
Alabama’s offensive line coach Eric Wolford is one of the coaches recruiting Pulido for the Tide, and the both of them are building a solid relationship.
“He is a great guy,” Said Pulido when giving his thoughts on Wolford. “I think his love for the game as well as the guys and their well-being is awesome.”
At 6-foot-7 and 340 pounds, the Alabama target is light on his feet, and he has impressive footwork. He saw playing time on both sides of the football for Apple Valley during the 2021 football season. While he primarily line up at offensive tackle as a junior, Pulido has the potential to be either a guard or tackle at the next level.

A decision is not on the horizon for Pulido, but Alabama is one of the programs recruiting him hard at the moment. An official visit to UA in the future is definitely a possibility.
