Alabama football starts preseason camp on Thursday, August 4.

Crimson Tide fans are excited to see this team return to the College Football Playoff and win a national championship.

Nick Saban knows the journey to dominance begins in fall practice. He has a roster of experience and young talent that is prepared to run through the season and perform well. Four position groups will be under a microscope as they must give fans the confidence of this Tide team winning a national title. On Monday, Stephen Smith of Touchdown Alabama Magazine broke down the positions via In My Own Words. He highlighted the offensive line, defensive line, wide receivers, and cornerbacks.

Alabama’s offensive line and cornerbacks have new coaches. Eric Wolford replaced Doug Marrone and Travaris Robinson replaced Jay Valai. Wolford and Robinson have made a strong impact in recruiting and coaching. Both are well respected in the Southeastern Conference. Wolford was an offensive guard in college while Robinson was a defensive back at Auburn University.

We will see how all groups look in camp as Tide football is 38 days away.
