Former Alabama and current Texas wide receiver Agiye Hall was arrested Thursday night by UTPD on Class B misdemeanor charges. Hall was booked at 9:06 p.m. by the Travis County Sheriff’s Office where he was charged with criminal mischief equal to or great than $100 but less than $750. His bond is currently listed at $0.
The news was first reported by Inside Texas.
Hall spent just one season at Alabama where he caught the attention of fans and coaches with an impressive A-Day performance but ultimately did not lead to instant playing time. He would eventually be called upon for his most significant playing time in the national championship game while filling in for an injured Jameson Williams.
Against Georgia, Hall had two catches for 52 yards in the loss.
Prior to the championship game, Hall questioned the staff’s decision to not play him while sharing several subliminal posts on social media throughout the season.
This past spring, head coach Nick Saban announced that Hall would be indefinitely suspended from the team and he would later enter the transfer portal shortly after on April 7. He would soon after announce his intentions to transfer to Texas on April 19.
