Multiple former Alabama football players shared their reaction to Alabama football’s 20-19 win over Texas Saturday via social media.

Jared Mayden – Former Alabama DB

ROLL TIDE ????‼️

Isaiah Buggs – Former Alabama DL

My Chest ???? Lol.

Why so many people don’t like bama ????????????

Shaun Dion Hamilton – Former Alabama LB

Two words. Bryce Young.

Greg McElroy – Former Alabama QB

Wow. Will Anderson, after a tough day, might’ve just made the play of the game.

— Greg McElroy (@GregMcElroy) September 10, 2022

Bad Snap and Hold (which led to missed FG) at the End of Half is looming LARGE right now for the Longhorns.

— Greg McElroy (@GregMcElroy) September 10, 2022

Gutsy Win for Alabama. So much to clean up, but a great response to adversity by Bryce Young and the Passing Game.

Texas played their tails off. They should be proud of how far they’ve come in just 1 year. Gotta finish drives in the Redzone. Can’t settle for 3s.

Will Lowery – Former Alabama DB

Supposedly the “greatest Alabama team ever” currently getting beat about to go down 2 scores to an unranked team with a backup QB on one leg going into the 4Q

— Will Lowery (@jwlowery29) September 10, 2022

Huge tackle and stop by Koolaid.

Somehow – and I am truly not sure how considering how absolutely awful we have played across the board – we’re still only down 1 score.

— Will Lowery (@jwlowery29) September 10, 2022

Regardless of all else, 9 is a WINNER, in the way the Bear meant it. 16 too!!

— Will Lowery (@jwlowery29) September 10, 2022

My goodness I’m glad that game is over. We had absolutely no business winning. As ugly a game as I’ve watched for 3.5 quarters offensively. Defense played a great 2H. Glad our “wake up call” game came this early, we have a LOT of work to do

Maron Humphrey – Former Alabama DB

Woke up from a Nap and Bama not winning big :/

— marlonhumphrey.eth (@marlon_humphrey) September 10, 2022

Going to be a interesting second half for Alabama. If the skill players come out confident Bama still wins big. But right now Texas is out working them

Reggie Ragland – Former Alabama LB

Where the help at over the top!!!

— Reggie Ragland (@reggieragland) September 10, 2022
