Terry Bowden is back in the state of Alabama for the first time since 2011, but he’s here as an opponent.
As a second-year head coach at Louisiana-Monroe, he brings the Warhawks into Tuscaloosa looking for an upset. Nick Saban remembers the loss he took to ULM in 2007 during his first year with the Crimson Tide. He wants to see his players bring more competitive fire as its Southeastern Conference slate begins next week. Alabama defeated the Warhawks, 34-0, in the last matchup in 2015 at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Coach Saban knows Arkansas is on the horizon, but he won’t overlook ULM.
