Kelby Collins is expected to return to Alabama this weekend for an unofficial visit.
Collins currently attends Gardendale High School in Alabama, and he is verbally committed to the Florida Gators. He garners a four-star rating from multiple recruiting sites.
The Gardendale product chose Florida over Alabama, Georgia and others in August. Collins, who grew up an Alabama fan, knew the moment he announced his commitment the Crimson Tide were not going to let up on him.

“I don’t look to be flipping anywhere anytime soon,” Collins said after he committed. “But I am pretty sure Georgia and Alabama are still going to try to get me to flip. We will see how it goes but right now I am locked in.”
Saturday’s trip to Tuscaloosa will be Collins’ first since committing to Florida. He has not visited any other school besides Florida this season. Alabama’s defensive line coach Freddie Roach is leading Alabama’s charge to flip Collins.
